Wow, what a stunner! The fabric, a rich, vibrant royal blue, reflects light beautifully. This dress has a good bit of stretch and really clings to the curves. I love that the top can be worn over or below the shoulders. The belt is a great touch, though the dress looks equally amazing without it.

The Starlet is one of my all time favorite cuts from Vixen. I had the Hunter Green Velvet but sold due to weight loss and just had to replace with this breathtaking color! It's such a stunning piece, I really wish I could afford to have them all, even if I only wear once a year. Just buy it, there will be no regrets.

Ok this dress is absolutely killer- I want it in another color. Fit perfect except for the belt- motivates me to get to the gym. Honestly it looked great without a belt also. So many compliments when I wore it out New Year’s Eve- I had to keep sharing the website to order with people. If you’re in the fence just pull the trigger and get this one. I’m a curvy gal and it hits in all the right places.

Yes I already wrote a review about this dress from when I first bought a large years ago. I lost weight and couldn't wear anymore so had to bless and release to my dismay.
But then Micheline announced a restock this holiday season. After multiple emails from my needy self, the Vixen team helped me purchase one in size s. Updated pic attached. I seriously want to be buried in this dress. As a medium-sized girl with small boobs & a big booty, Vixen always makes me feel my best by emphasizing my assets. Helps on the self-love journey!

When I die, bury me in this dress!!! The blue velvet starlet is one of my two most fav Vixen designs as well dresses in general!! I purchased a L years ago when she first dropped, but have since then lost a lot of weight. I’ve Poshmarked a lot of my dresses that are now too big, but this one was the most difficult to bless and release. I love this dress so much -- it's stunning. The velvet is soft and substantial, and it drapes so beautifully. Unfortunately I ordered an XL because I misjudged the size chart and it is sold out in the L. There's a chance I may be too short-waisted for it, but I ready hope that I can find it in my size to make sure.
I'm hoping it will be back in stock at Vixen, or that someone in the FB group will have an L (maybe even a M?) to trade for this XL or to sell me outright. It's my Vixen unicorn!

The colour and dress construction are amazing. The inner lining and the tulip skirt is very flattering on rounded tummies. Unfortunately the style didn't quite work for me as the bust was too loose even with a push-up bra. This style would probably be better suited an hourglass shaped figure or one with a larger bust/waist ratio as the bust area is cut fairly generously. For reference I'm 34C-30-39 and bought a M

A beautiful vibrant color and I love the design. The zip bulges a bit in the back which could be due to my short torso. I hate polyester, but for this dress I made an exception and only wear it for a few hours at a time.

This is such a lovely dress!! I sized down to an S. That was a really risky move, since I’m a solid M, but was afraid the chest area would be too roomy on me, and all the M were long gone by then! It was either the S or losing it forever!! My waist is almost one inch bigger than the chart says in the S, and it bunches a little bit on my back, but nothing too noticeable and I still worth it! Dream dress. Just so happy it did not become my unicorn, since it is my favourite dress now. :)

I wore the starlet dress to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We saw a broadway show and went to 2 hot nyc restaurant afterwards. I was definently over dressed for NYC but I did not care. My husband and I matched and the dress made me feel beautiful and desirable. The dress is well made but you definently need to size up as the dress material allows for very little stretch. I also didn't need to wear my usual undergarments, the dress definently concealed my mom pouch.

This dress is incredible! I have an hourglass figure (32E/F, 26, 38.5) and the material generously accommodates it. Though every body size and type I’ve seen this dress on looks great-there’s just something about the way it’s designed that it’s flattering on everyone! I love the inner lining of the supportive stretch material-it keeps things in place so there’s minimal adjustment to be made through the day, it gives me the option of wearing with or without shapewear, and it makes sure everything is draped just right. These clothes are so thoughtfully designed-when is the last time you wore a dress that’s sexy and comfortable?! And the quality! A really stunning dress that I cannot wait to wear out! I ordered the Large knowing it would likely be a little big in the bust (I'm 38 inches including push up bra in this pic). But with a more padded strapless bra, I think the top will fill out nicely. The dress fits my 32in waist and 33.5in hips perfectly, I definitely could not have sized down.
