Purchased an XL to accommodate my 48 in hips waist is somewhat lose but that was expected at my waist is 30 in. Wish I could afford all of the colors in this skirt.

i love this skirt! just wish there was a cut for us petite girls, im 5'2" and it def runs long. very form fitting and i appreciate that it's lined. i do wish the top was enforced since it has a habit of folding over when sitting down. I ordered a Large and measure 30/42

Loved the color! Classic pin-up cool red. The size chart was very accurate, 30/42 fit large perfectly. I am 5'2" so it was a tad long so I will have to get it taken up, which will affect the slit in the back. Loved that it was lined with a satin material.

The of this skirt material is very firm and sturdy so there’s no worry of this skirt losing its shape over time. Also the band at the waist keeps it securely in place and not helps enhance the hourglass look but also ensures whatever top you tuck in won’t slip out with movment or through sitting or standing. The inside of the skirt is super smooth which makes it super comfortable to wear. The only thing I’d say is the material is not stretchy AT ALL and the band at the waist as no give, so make sure to measure yourself and check the sizing before you order—I had previously ordered one size down and the band was so tight it was painful).

Love the skirt. I originally ordered a small, but it was too tight in the waist. I exchanged it for the medium. The medium fit great, but it is a little big in the hips. Overall great fit and quality.

My waist and hips measurements are 24 inches and 34 inches. The skirt fits like a dream and the shade of red is perfect. My favorite color is red so I HAD to buy this ❤ I get a lot of attention in too haha

Skirt is a beautiful bright red love the silk lining inside fit perfect on the waist and hips but fell straight down after the hips not to much of a pencil. I might have to do a couple alterations to the fit. But over all I love it.

Great skirt. I thought it would be like the swing skirt material wise. This material isn't silky smooth...more like a thick blend perhaps, hard to describe. It's not shiny, its a matte color. Still a great skirt. Size 2x purchased, I'm a size 14/16 US... if I could get my lower stomach flatter it would be better... so for now longer shirts to cover the mother of 3 pooch.

This RED is a GORGEOUS shade and PERFECT for so many skin tones! As my reviews show up on quite a few of the pencils, I think it is clear that I absolutely LOVE my Vixen Pencil skirts! I'm spoiled by the fit of these. Nothing compares, so if you are looking for a pencil skirt, you should definitely try Micheline's design! I hope more solid colors are in the works. I find that the solids (red and black) stretch more than the prints (Monster Masks, Spider Web, Vintage Roses), so sometimes they look a little more baggy after a couple of wears. I've attached a photo of me wearing both the small (left) and medium (right), so you can see the difference in the tightness and length. I'm 5'3" and I prefer the size Medium, so the length is a little bit long, but I could easily have it shortened. My waist is ~27" and my hips/thighs are ~38" (give or take a little, depending on the day), and I like my pencils to skim my curves without being skin tight, so I size up. Although I could definitely wear the small, I find that the medium is a lot more comfortable for walking, sitting, and wearing to work. I like to be able to move my legs! If you want a tighter fit and to wiggle when you walk, size down. The red is a must-have and it one of my favorites, for sure. Hope this review helps!

Like jogging pants but in vintage pencil skirt form. Formal looking, but surprisingly really, really comfortable. I got the 2X and there is a bit of room in the hip area for me (I’m 45/37/44). I love the inner lining, too. Helps everything lay flatter and move easier. I wear this with everything.

I own nearly all of the Vixen pencil skirts, this stunning rich deep red being my 4th acquisition, and I have nothing but praise for them. Ordered a size 3X, and my current measurements are 38 1/2" waist and 51" hips. I'm 5' and 6 1/2" tall, and worn at my natural waist line, the bottom reaches about 2" below the knee caps. Fits beautifully, just like my other Vixen pencil skirts in the same size. As always, has a high quality charmeuse lining, which in this case is a matching red. Purchased on Feb. 13th, shipped out the 20th, and delivered Feb. 23rd.

I normally don't do pencil skirts but I was blown away by this one. The fit is amazing, and I don't need shapewear with it. It is perfect for the office, but also looks great with a sexy top for a night out. Doesn't ride up either.

I am usually between XL and L. If you like a tight fit size down . My waist is 31-33 (fluctuates) and hips are 41-42. And there is more than enough room for movment which I love! Usually when I wear a pencil skirts it feels like they are going to burst when I sit down; but not this one!
